January 8, 20242 yr Howdy, I hope someone can help here this is annoying! I have tried to get on the FSDT user forum but its password reset does not work, and I've already asked the dev to try to fix this, to no avail, so I ask here. This is in the PMDG 738. I do have my Simbrief User Name (alias) correctly input into GSX settings page. The really strange part is every once in a while indeed the correct loads populate when I request boarding in GSX, but 90% of the time it's always the same: 8 pax into first class, 108 or something like that into economy, and always 9,000lbs or so lbs of cargo. Any ideas where to look?? January 8, 20242 yr Commercial Member The reset password on the FSDT forum surely works, and people resets their password normally. And, we have a support email as well, which should be used as an alternative if the forum can't be accessed for any reason. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook

I've done this several times over several months as mentioned before and nope, does not send me an email to my inbox nor spam folder. Other sites I use don't have this issue of my not receiving the sent email for password reset. OK, we'll go reexplain to your support email, unless you can respond here so perhaps others who might be experiencing this could benefit? Of course it's entirely plausible I may not get the reply for the same reason your server can't successfully deliver the password reset email, right? January 8, 20242 yr found this on their forum, may or may not help. Also keep in mind that they also have a very active Discord channel. Have you entered a callsign from the aircraft customization screen on the pre-flight set up from the world map? Maybe that's overriding it. After deleting the callsign all was working as it should! This was in fact a problem we never considered: if you change your callsign in the airplane customization page, it will change the ATC ID reported by Simconnect for all your airplanes, until you change it again. Since the ATC ID is tied to the PMDG .INI settings for that airframe, if they don't match, it would cause GSX not being able to read the airplane configuration for that variant. As soon this was reported, we posted a small hotfix (no version change), which reads the ATC ID from the airplane.cfg first, reverting to Simconnect only as a backup in case the atc_id might be missing or the aircraft.cfg couldn't be read for any reason, and this should fix the problem, regardless if you changed the callsign or not.The fix is already online since a couple of day, just run the FSDT Live Update and make a "Check" on GSX Pro. Thank you Mike. Quick clarification: is it any different to update via Live Update, versus using the FSDT Installer, which is what I normally use? I will report what happened and fingers are crossed! I didn't know they had a Discord channel thanks for that as well. I don't enter into the Callsign field so that didn't pan out. Now this time up I got loaded with a totally different set of numbers, once again, not from Simbrief! yet the PMDG tablet does import the OFP from Simbrief. And my departure time is fine. Fortuantely I can edit it and do every time but a bit of an annoyance when it's not supposed to do this. January 8, 20242 yr this is what I found... Re: Difference between FSDT Live Update and Update via FSDT Installer ? « Reply #1 on: October 12, 2023, 12:01:11 pm » Quote They are exactly the same program (same .EXE), just with a different user interface that changes depending on the icon you start it with. However, what the Live Update does, is the same as if you pressed the "Update All" button in the Installer interface, and this function does some extra cleaning of wrong settings in your system, which might explain why you see a difference that, under normal situations shouldn't be there. Some of these settings are related to clearing some registry settings by wrong compatibility flags Windows might have set to "help" you starting a program that might not have started, or crashed, for any reason, which we reset back to default, fixing the issue.
