January 14, 20242 yr I came across two tools by Sonicviz, https://sonicviz.com/portfolio/ - Location manager, which enables you (among other things) to start anywhere on the ground or on water - Aircraft manger, which includes automatic preset selection (for axis assignments etc.) by aircraft type. Has anyone used these tools before? For what they are doing, they are a bit on the high side with the price. Plus, there are "known issues" listed for them, so I am quite hesitant to jump for it. Are there any alternatives for the two items above? This is really all I am interested in. Peter
January 14, 20242 yr I splashed out on both - but ended up only using Aircraft Manager, as I have way too many aircraft installed. Even when selecting subsets with Addon Linker, I was getting massive lists in MSFS. The manager has a nice GUI and I can select favourites etc. As I tend to pre-select scenery addons (in Linker) based on the area(s) I want to fly in, I found I was often going to locations via Location Manager that hadn't got the corresponding sceneries enabled, so I went back to the manual method. Both work well, IMHO. Edited January 15, 20242 yr by Adamski_NZ
January 15, 20242 yr Author Thanks for your reply. So, what would be the manual method to start from ground? My own work-around is to create a scenery for it 😄

This is after enabling the required sceneries in Addon Linker. I'm not sure how I did it in Location Manager - it was a fair while ago and I didn't use it much even then. However - I seem to remember LM had difficulty storing/recalling individual parking slots, so that possibly prompted me to give up on it.
