Depart, after 1k ft engaged the a\p. It takes the heading, speed and climbs via the autopilot. I start to adjust the vertical rate and the aircraft pitches straight up, stalls and pancakes.

What about playing with the vertical velocity causes that?

What happens if you have all of the A/P settings in place like Heading, Auto-throttle speed, and VS Rate before turning on the A/P?  Maybe start with a VS of 1800 feet per minute!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
