Bloom in v5.4 - doyou use it above 0% ?

Recommended Posts

I have pushed the slider full LEFT (0%) in the lighting options, but would be interested in knowing what your experiences dictate in your sim installs...

Are there any performance advantages in setting Bloom off ?

It always looks way too intense to me, but maybe I could use some magic number for that setting ?

Thx @Juliett Alfa Romeo ! Will try that number...

BTW, and since you brought RDShade preset "to the table"...

I never used any shader mods with any sim... but I often see posts about RDShade and it's "miracles" ... 🙂

My rig is in the signature, not top for today's standards but with the TRX 3060 Ti I could / should probably try one of those shader mods ?

Can you point me to the easy track to get that RDShade on ?

Just to be aware RDShade and Reshade are two different applications.,

  • RDShade is P3D specific and modifies P3D's display shader files directly.
  • Reshade is application agnostic and uses it's own shader files without modifying those of P3D.

Reshade UI can be opened and and shaders adjusted on the fly so to speak with P3D running, thus changes are instantly viewable.

And there are a great many reshade shaders by many different authors.

Cheers
