Terrain and Objects Level of Detail Keep Resetting

Recommended Posts

I just noticed that for some reason if I adjust the Terrain and Object Level of Detail Sliders then "Apply & Save" of course, they stay that way for my flight. BUT when I restart MSFS they revert back to where they were previously. Is this normal? Is there something else I need to do to keep them from reverting?

Thanks.

Dave

Are you running dynLOD?

Most of the time, but the last time I wasn't and it reverted.

Ok, I recant what I said. I just tried MSFS WITHOUT DynamicLOD and it seems to hold. So I presume DynamicLOD overrides those setting then?

You can enter reset values in the DLOD app for TLOD/OLOD which get loaded after a sim session.

Set the reset values in the D-LOD app to the values you normal use without it, works flawless for me.
