Assigning Brakes to a yoke button

Featured Replies

I recently effed up my right foot and can't use the  toe brakes on my Thrustmaster rudder pedals, although I can still use the rudders. In that other sim that shall remain nameless I had no problem assigning a button on my Honeycmb yoke for normal braking, but I have been unsuccessful doing the same in XP12. I have tried every binding choice that comes up when I search for "brakes" but none of them do anything to slow the aircraft down. A search of the forum brought up nothing useful. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!

That did it, but I think my problem was actually a small personal failure. Yesterday I was flying the Aerobask Phenom and I think I forgot to turn on the hydraulics! Just now I started with engines running on the runway and the Hyd was automatically on. Brakes work a lot better with hydraulic pressure... DOH!!!

Anyway, thanks muchly for the suggestion!!
