February 3, 20242 yr Hi, I had a very strange problem yesterday. Shortly before landing, I no longer had any control over the yoke, nor did I have any thrust in my Honeyomb Bravo. It was a 4 hour flight with PMDG 737-800… Everything was ok… I even took control about 4 minutes before landing and everything was still ok. Then I wanted to take control at 1000 ft, but Honeycomb Yoke did not respond to deactivating the AP… Controlling was also not possible. Bravo also caused a problem. Flaps or air brakes worked… all buttons actually worked, but only thrust didn’t work… Very strange. While the problem occurred, I quickly looked into Windows joy.cpl and everything worked. So there was no USB disconnect. The connection was still there under Windows… Only MSFS didn’t respond. Nevertheless, the plane landed with AP… Then I pushed wildly in the cockpit and suddenly the yoke and thrust went again… I have no idea why. No cat, it was on my keyboard shortly before landing… Could it be that the cat activated something? Is there a keyboard shortcut for something like that? I know it all sounds very strange
February 3, 20242 yr Do you have other windows opened (like browser and etc ) while MSFS is running? If so , sometimes when you switch between them MSFS appear on the screen but window is not active . It can cause all controls and buttons un accessible within MSFS. In this case you would beet recycle between windows again using ALT TAB and until MSFS window is selected again Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). February 3, 20242 yr I have this happen frequently. As sd_flyer stated, if you have a second monitor and you happen to click on it to say on a nav map or a replay tool or adjust a flight plan, if you don't click again on your main monitor, no controls will work.. no keyboard, controls.. nada. It's a real pain. My solution is to left click anywhere on the primary MSFS screen and things are back to normal. I would think MS ought to be able to put a five or ten second time-out on the secondary screen and make the primary active again. Been around since day one. 😔 Edited February 3, 20242 yr by Simtech95382 added info I9-10850K, Mugen 5 cooler, Gigagbyte Aorus Z490 Master, 2TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2, 1TB Samsung 970 Plus, 2TB Samsung 870evo, Corsair RM-850, G-Skill DDR-4 3600, Lian Li LanCool Mesh, Nvidia 4080FE, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, MFG Crosswind pedals, Win10 Pro
