February 6, 20242 yr In cruise for 4 hours from EGLL to KIAD the 'total' sound drops off significantly. Prior to this the 'total sound' level is at the preset level, and when I select another Window the environmental sounds drop off. When the P3D window is reselected, the soundincreases back to preset level. After 4 hours approximately the overallsound level drops off to the lower level and will not return to preset. When I select the drop-down menu OPTIONS --> GENERAL, the sound jumps back up to the previous higher level. As soon as I come out of the drop-down menu the overall sund level dropsagain.
