SU15 still stutters

Featured Replies

I have a top of the line I9 14900k with Rtx 4900 and 48gb ram. Everything is on ultra. DX12 with FG On. 140 TLOD and 170 Object LOD.

I have 100 FPS and fluid experience BUT I am experiencing still stutters on approach and also on flare for some reason. This happens with Fenix, PMDG and other default MSFS planes. I thought it’s a payware scenery problem but it also happens at default airports.

How’s everyone’s stutters in SU15 compared to 14? I thought SU15 was suppose to fix it

Your hardware out-specs mine and I experience very few stutters in the beta. I'd suggest trying out Reset_XPDR's excellent autoLOD mod - just look for the forum thread in the recent Avsim threads. I would give you the link to the github download, but I'm a noob and it's super-confusing to navigate!

Have you tried approaches to several different payware airports? My system seem to handle iniBuild's EGLL well, even when approaching from the east and overflying London CBD. This is in the Fenix btw.

Did you flush your Shaders?

Completed a second flight under the SU15 beta yesterday, very smooth all the way but about halfway through I got the 'unable to read memory' error popup which I was able to drag and drop to my second monitor and continue the flight without issue.

Might try a longer flight this afternoon - say about 6 or so hours in the Horizon 787-9, give her a real good chance to stretch the legs so to speak...

Off-topic: have you been saved yet? I found myself nearly redeemed whilst flying a near-flawless, stutter-free approach to Cologne/Bonn (Wind 240° 29kt, gusting 40kt) in the Fenix + FSLTL. The sensation of bliss didn't last long though as I was quickly condemned after selecting TOGA thrust instead of full reverse thrust after touchdown 🤦‍♂️

I have shader cache off because it’s better in terms of stutters than on and I regularly delete rolling cache and NVidia cache
