GPS route problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just completed a reinstall of P3D v5.4.  In the turboprop aircraft I fly, I use the RXP GTN750 for navigation.  I have three installed : Carenado PC12, Carenado B120, and Flysimware MU-2B.  All three exhibit the same behaviour.  On engaging Nav in the autopilot, they veer off course and settle on a reciprocal course.

I came across an old thread in this forum where Stan found that pressing D solved his problem.  I've tried pressing D before leaving the Gate, but It didn't help.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?  I asked in the RXP forum but got now replies.

Regards, Jim

I test RXP GTN750 yesterday with the FSW C441 and all ok.

What is the RXP version number you are using?

Hi, Vaughan

Thanks for your reply.  The version is 2.5.28.5.  I've been using it for quite some time.

I didn't mention it in my post, but inexplicably I also have a Flysimware  F50 which follows the magenta line perfectly.

Hi Jim,

The version number is 2.7.9.0  ?

Where did you get that version number from?

My last screenshot of the RealityXP GNS install was for v 2.6.9.0

Pressing the D yes but not as relating to RealityXP.

Hi, Vaughan,

Version number of the setup.exe.

Hi Jim,

You are correct.

In my last reply I mentioned I got the version 2.6.9.0 from the RealityXP GNS download / install.

Previously I had not verified the GTN's version number. My error on that.

Have you had a chance to do another test with newer RXP GTN Version 2.7.9.0 ?

Hi Vaughan,

Before posting, I spent a whole day, fruitlessly trying to solve this problem.  I thought my future flight sim hobby was permanently stunted.

Now I could never thank you enough!  My B120 just moved over to join the magenta line, meek as a lamb!

Best Regards, Jim

BTW, I just noticed the spec of your system.  It is exactly the same as mine in every detail!
