March 10, 20242 yr Hello all, I have some newbie questions coming from P3D (don't worry, I haven't given it up yet!) that I haven't found answers to. Can anyone help me? 1. Clouds are shimmery around the edges - is there a setting that I can tune to alleviate this? 2. Is there a way to get rid of the default pushback truck? I found it pushing me back from the gate while I was still doing my before start checklist today! I did not ask it to! 3. Is there a way to reduce external sounds so when I switch views from cockpit to outside, I don't wake the dog up and scare half of the neighbourhood? 4. I have preset (saved) cockpit view I use. For some reason, the one save to view 5 never works or saves. Anyway, in the PMDG 737 there are saved "showcase" views for the wings from the cabin etc. which I quite like. I have a key set up to toggle cockpit view, and another to toggle drone view (which I think you need to get to showcase views?). The trouble is, I would like to jump straight from the cockpit to a showcase wing view without first having to cycle through the external drone camera (which is noisy!). Is there a way to do this? The camera system in MSFS has not been easy for me to get to grips with verus EZCA which I use in P3D! 5. My research seems to say there is no way to disable the transition/moving effect when switching between saved views. Is this definitely the case? Thank-you to any kind soul who can offer me some advice on these matters... Kind regards, Rudy Edited March 10, 20242 yr by VHOJT

If you want an actually useful pushback tug, there are tools for that (I use GSX). 4. You cannot switch between cockpit and drone views like that, but you can set up "cockpit views" that are actually outside of the aircraft (or in the cabin looking outside or whatever you want). You can then easily switch between those and you actual real cockpit views. You'd need to google for more infos on how to do it. March 10, 20242 yr Commercial Member @VHOJT regarding the views. Many payware aircraft automatically allow you to exit thr flightdeck. I think it's shift+down arrow to move back but from memory I can't remember. You can use that to position over the wing then save the view. Also checkout flightsim.to for views. Some users have created views that you can then drop into place and use the same view profile.
