AIG Traffic setup in MSFS - GA

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Installed AIG for the first time in a long time (new PC). Referred back to the guide published here on Avsim AIG Traffic guide - MSFS (2020) Tips and Tricks Forum - The AVSIM Community but realized it is outdated as there is a new much simpler one-click installer. It was easy enough to figure out myself and a lot easier than I remember it being originally.

There was a "mod" to enable Offline GA traffic while running AIG for airliner traffic, allowing for both AIG airliners and GA traffic simultaneously in the sim. I used to use it and it worked. Does this still work in the current version of the sim? It seems the threads on this topic here on Avsim and on the main MS forum all dried up some time back. Back then, there were some suspicions being raised that this mod was causing crashes. Is there anyone here that uses AIG still using this mod? The mod is still up on fs.to but with a cautionary note that it is no longer being maintained. GA Stock Aircraft Traffic for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS. Mod was uploaded by Avsim user @Phantoms.

To use or not to use?

Cheers!

AIG has just started introducing leisure GA themselves via the all-new "dynamic flightplans". Bizjet GA has always been there. Maybe you just want to use it as is instead of fiddling around with a mod that might not even work anymore. There'll be alot more leisure GA introduced over the next weeks.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Great news - thanks. Yes, in that case, won't do any fiddling. 🙂
