Microsoft

It's all stored in the MSFS cloud there is no need to back up anything.  I've done an initial install in Aug 2020, and 2 subsequent complete uninstall/reinstall, never have a single problem.  MS Store version.

Be careful - not everything is stored in the cloud.  If you have custom cockpit camera views, for instance, they will all be lost.  Back up this folder:

\Users\"name"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes

The aircraft here will be those you have custom settings for (cameras.CFG)

Thanks for your replies, efectively, when I reinstalled msfs, all my graphic and control configurations were kept.

Luckily I saved a backup of that *.airplanes file
