April 18, 20242 yr Hey, Currently setting up an MSFS installation and remembered I had quite a few airport overlaps last time of default and addon airports. I know MSFS Addon Linker has a function to search out duplicates, which is great, problem is when you right click and do a "Delete files", it'll just redownload the ones you've deleted upon start. The only way of stopping this, I've discovered, is leaving the folder but just deleting the contents. However, doing that to 10-15 folders perhaps is just a bit annoying, especially if you constantly have to be over it in case of updates. So what is the simplest way of doing it, is there an addon that specifically does it correctly or what other methods are there? Click Uninstall/Delete. Et voilà ! Airport gone and doesn't re-download at next MSFS start.
