How to Reconnect New Flight Plan

Featured Replies

Hi Dave and pilots

Sometimes my Pilot2ATC disconnected in Flightpan route, but I do not think that it is the software. I used it on a second Monitor and move the mouse sometimes to see phrases and use copilot and MSFS2020 is not excellent in that case on second monitor.

And generaly if i do not touch with mouse this second monitor all is correct and i can follow all the route without problem

But it is not about that I post

In that case I launch again Pilot2ATC, reconnect SimBrief SID STAR and APR and I am in the new flight without vocal ATC. seems normal because I do not have clearance i suppose

What solutions could you give me if I want to fly again with ATC? I do not have Clearance because i am not on the airport i left. What is the best solution is-it 1-Open Flight Plan to reconnect and receive the new position frequency Squawk code etc or other method, Thanks for answering I am going also to post my question to Dave on AVSIM.

Sorry if answers exist and asked a lot of time to you

Today P2ATC is a Splendid software and voices are not too bad in particular i add Windows voice as linda James Richard and Marc all are excellents and not to robotic (i found a you-tube explanation how to add them) and add also Sick and rudder Markcellis.

it depend what you want for me a best Many thanks Dave 🥰

⦁    Connect to P2A
⦁    File the same flight plan you’ve been flying
⦁    Set Com radio to the nearest Center Controller, assuming your en-route
⦁    Make initial call – “Center, <CallSign> at <Current Altitude>”

Center will give you a squawk code and ATC Communications should resume, possibly with several calls, depending on where you are in the plan.
