85" 4K $1000 at Bestbuy and Costco (USA)

I don't use a TV for MSFS. Other folks here do. Sony 85" 4K 120 Hz $1000 at Costco stores, Costco online, and at Bestbuy stores and online. Costco has the best "returns" policy in the world. 5 years almost no questions asked.

The problem with an 85 inch display is that you have to be 6+ feet back from the screen to avoid seeing obvious and hard-to-ignore pixellation in the image.

So this might be a good buy for a home cockpit where just the outside view is on the big screen, but not so much if you want to put the panel up and use it like a monster-sized monitor.

I'm not so sure about that I use a 55" HDTV and my eyes are less than 36" away from it and its immersive. I could go with 85" less than 60" for more immersion. Plus you get frame generation with a HGTV for anyone who doesn't have a 4000 series GPU.

Costco is selling lots of these according to other (not flightsim) forums. For anyone in America, they're a good deal. Costco return policy is the best in the world. Even better than Amazon. At Costco it is 5 years as long as there is no bad physical damage.
