May 24, 20242 yr I have flown both Kodiak 100 and the TBM 930 a lot over the last year. I always start from a cold and dark cockpit. I cannot get either of them to start now. Fuel flow is appropriate, ignition is on, NG% is at should be, prop and condition levers are in the correct location, fuel is in the tank and valves are open. The NG spins up, the flow meter shows an increased flow when I go from Cutoff to Lo idle at 20% but neither engine ignites. Using CTRL+E (autostart) does not work at all in the TBM and only works occasionally in the Kodiak. And autostart in the Kodiak operates the prop and condition lever quite differently from the checklists - pushes the prop from feather to full pitch and moves the condition lever to high idle BEFORE engaging the starter. Has something changed in SU15? Both planes operated as I expected earlier this week. May 24, 20242 yr Just guessing, but are you using the correct controller profiles? They may have reset to default with the update. Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower! I am not using the controller - I adjust the levers in the virtual cockpit. But, YES I verified that my Thrustmaster TCA quadrant is operating all the controls as desired. If I tell the sim to start the flight on a runway - both planes work perfectly. Except - if I use ESC to get to the general options and then return to the sim - the turboprop engine is at 0% NG with normal ITT - there is nothing I can do at that point to restart The OV-10 Bronco turbo props work perfectly from Cold and Dark. May 25, 20242 yr Hmmm. I neither familiar with the TBM930 nor operating in VR. I know some updates have fried some peoples profiles in the past for whatever reason and have they needed to remap their controllers but that doesn't sound like your issue. I also understand there may be an improvement mod for the TBM930 which apparently got itself confused on a couple of previous SU updates. But if that happened this time I imagine there would have already been complaints from quite a few regarding this, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. So this could be more local. Perhaps a file got corrupted somewhere in the download/update process so may I suggest you reinstall the aircraft and any latest mods that go with it and see if that improves the situation? There must be someone else out there who flies this in VR who can help. Perhaps you could also post your question in the VR section of Avsim? Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. May 25, 20242 yr I’ve had issues in the past with some turboprops when I had a mixture axis mapped in my profile. Removing it from the profile fixed that. Might be worth checking out. jack

Might be worth checking out. This was my thought too. Especially given this: 3 hours ago, TacomaSailor said: Except - if I use ESC to get to the general options and then return to the sim - the turboprop engine is at 0% NG with normal ITT - there is nothing I can do at that point to restart IIRC this is typical of having a spurious axis assigned in the profile. (I.e. some axis of some controller got assigned to mixture, even though you didn't intend it to.) When you return to the sim, it re-scans the values of all the axis inputs and "notices" the spurious mixture axis at this point, which is presumably set to zero.
