May 25, 20242 yr I noticed my left triim switch is continuously sending a #2 button press (as if the switch is pushed forward). The #3 button (same switch but downward) seems unaffected. For now I have removed its assignment but what can be done to fix this? I have no experience in soldering unfortunately, always thought I'd take a course one day but never did. He responded quite promptly and had me take off the button plate on the yoke handle in order to check things. I did that this morning and I've reported back. No doubt Chris will contact me with a solution. It looks like I might be able to solve this with his help without soldering or replacing parts, but that I will know when Chris has e-mailed me back. There's no hurry though since loosening the bolts on the button plate by ony a fraction has the switch working again, at least temporarily. June 4, 20241 yr Author Last Saturday Chris sent me instructions to remedy the issue. All it took to solve the issue was bending a pin a bit. The problem was remedied on later versions of the yoke and it is not difficult to fix but if you have this issue i recommend contacting Chris before trying anything yourself.
