Hello All,

Yesterday it connected fine and I could see my plane on my flight plan, but today, nope, and I have no idea why, and that is what is happening.  It clearly sees MSFS is the sim to connect to, but then simply doesn't connect so can't see other players nor myself, and I have no idea how to troubleshoot why.  This happened to me a few weeks ago so I uninstalled and reinstalled LNM having to repopulate libraries and window settings etc.  Worked fine for a while, now it's doing this again.

Any help much appreciated. 

I guess I can try NOT using the current version w/ the Installer as I never experienced this for the past 3y until this version w/ the installer was used, so will now try 3.0.5 and hopefully that will help.

Have you tried connecting using the connect to Sim option in the LNM menu option, this helps me restore connection should I get disconnected through server dropout.

I think so--I open a connection dialogue up, it defaults to MSFS, and I hit the Connect button which is not grayed out, but this does not resolve the fact my aircraft doesn't appear, nor does any AI aircraft--all of those controls in LNM are grayed out, and Alexander I believe says this is from not connecting to MSFS.  Yesterday it worked fine.   My action that may have killed it was I deselected seeing other AI/multiplayer aircraft at one point in the flight, though my own aircraft remained and tracked the route correctly.   Today, no joy, again.  This happened the other day where suddenly apparently doesn't connect to MSFS which after doing everything I could think of did an uninstall and reinstall of the current version, which worked fine for a couple of flights now again is not displaying aircraft, and those options to display them are all grayed out.

You're thinking maybe the installer I used for v3.0.6 was changed such that this might resolve the issue?

Okay I just re-ran the installer overtop of itself and it's working again.  Maybe something was corrupted in the original install and bonus all settings were retained.  🤞

Glad to hear it's working again. Hope it stays this way.🙃

Settings are stored in another place (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel) and are always kept on reinstall or normal uninstall. You can also completely remove all traces from LNM when uninstalling (uninstaller asks). This will get rid of cache files and the ABarthel folder too.
