June 4, 20242 yr Some painters get their paint to appear first in your aircraft list and override every other paint for that aircraft. I still prefer having the default model be at the top of the list. How do you change that, does anyone know? Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
June 4, 20242 yr Should be a simple case of editing the aircraft's aircraft.cfg file unless I'm missing something I such a case. Each entry in the file is assigned a number, from 0 upwards. 0 is the first in the list and so on. If an add-on paint is at the beginning of the list, it will have been assigned 0. Simply change the file so that the default livery is 0 again and give the add-on whatever number the default had been changed to. i.e. Swap their assigned numbers. Similarly, you can change the order of all the liveries by changing their number. To avoid issues, just be sure there are no gaps in the number sequence (i.e. Avoid the numbers going 0,1,2,4,5... etc) and that you don't use a number twice in the file. June 4, 20242 yr MSFS sorts the liveries in the aircraft list alphabetically by folder name under "SimObjects/Airplanes". For example, the folder for the A2A Comanche is called "pa24-250". If you now name the folder of your repaint "a2a-pa24-250-n6494p", it will appear first in the list. So better name it "pa24-250-n6494p" to avoid that. I also never liked it when downloaded liveries appear first in the livery list. Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
