June 7, 20241 yr Okay, does anyone remember way back when MSFS had just been released and soon thereafter we dealt with this bug that prevented the HDR10 setting from being saved? Well, I am having that problem now since upgrading to SU15. It's a small thing, yes, but a bug that was fixed and now has returned. Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know of a way to make the setting stick? June 7, 20241 yr I had always the same problem, when MSFS loosed focus I would loose HDR. Had to ALT+ENTER to bring it back. Maybe it's my monitor / GPU / windows 11 , I don't know. Stopped using it, with 400 nits it's nothing special anyhow. However, since SU15, each time I start MSFS, it is turned off. June 7, 20241 yr You can edit the usercfg.otp file and make it writeprotect after setting HDR10 to 1 and if you use flow by //42 you can press del and type in HDR, so you can toggle HDR10 on and off when flying. I do use Flow Pro and did not know about that feature. I will give that a shot. 😊 AMD Ryzen 9900X3D & ASUS X870E Gaming Plus MB, w/64 Gb GSkill DDR5 RAM, PNY RTX 5090 GPU, lots of SSD's and M.2 drives, HAVN Case, Virpil VPC Panels 2 and 3, Virpil Constellation Alpha Stick, Virpil Rotor TCS Plus w/ Hawk-60 Collective grip, TM TCA Yoke Boeing Edition, TM HOTAS A-10 and F/A-18 Sticks and TM TPR Rudder pedals.
