Go ot the installaton folder of MSFS2024_Toolbox, there is a file settings.json. Open it with an editor and you'll see a path section where you can set your path to your content.xml ("C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Local\\Packages\\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\\LocalCache\\your xbox name\\Content.xml").

The version is down on the left side of the window.

It's a problem with P42 Flow not beeing compatible with SU5 Beta. Just remove the folder p42-util-flow-pro from your community folder and everything should work.

I did a short flight from DDs DCA to INIs PVD in the iFly Max using FSHud with AIG and the flight war absolutly great. Thunderstorm at Washington and bad weather along the route with rain at PVD. The performance was good, exept near JFK where the FPS dropped by 50% due to CPU, but it was smooth during the whole flight. I think they lowered the resolution of the clouds a bit, but these cloud systems were huge and massive with heavy turbulence at DCA and the clouds near New York looked really impressive. I think it was the first time since the beginning of FS2020 that I saw that kind of weather in the sim.

It should become mandatory to show your monitor resolution in your signature. These threads are pointless because you can't compare 1080p with 1440p or 4K. It also makes a huge difference whether you use an OLED panel or a conventional monitor. Each resolution has its own problems.

You have to reduce the tug speed to two or three kts, its an old problem. After that it should work with fenix too.

The easiest way to pause the sim and let your cpu and gpu stay cool is: hit ESC, go to LOAD/SAVE FLIGHT and open the window LOAD FROM or SAVE TO THIS PC. Let this window stay open and you can now minimze the sim. (Win+D).

For low and slow I allways use ActiveSky, but for IFR, or in general, flights above the clouds, I use MSFS Life Weather with ASFS in passive mode.

I've tried it with 4x over the atlantic with FSHud and FSLTL without any problems (EGNX to BIKF). Using 8x and the plane became unstable.

You can edit the usercfg.otp file and make it writeprotect after setting HDR10 to 1 and if you use flow by //42 you can press del and type in HDR, so you can toggle HDR10 on and off when flying.

I had the same yesterday, but during this the sim downloaded about 3 Gb of data. After finished download, about 10 Min. later, the sim loads and runs normally without any problem. Strange 😶

I would leave the Shader Cache disabled. It's a relict of old old times where CPU, Ram and HDDs where really slow. But with todays hardware you will not (I didn't) notice a difference in loading MSFS, perhaps a few ms delay. And you get rid off the problem with outdated shaders.
