June 22, 20241 yr Midnight Sun - North Cape Starting from Kirkenes (ENKR) in the far northeast of the Finnmark region of Norway the route proceeds north and west with landings at small airports located near the coast of the Barents and Norwegian Seas. After passing North Cape (waypoint NC) the route turns southwest into the Troms region. We will visit 12 small airports in this tour and finish at Stokmarknes (ENSK). Flightplan: HERE Aircraft The route is 477nm. An aircraft capable of 250knt cruise and able to land on shortish runways is preferred. I will fly the default King Air and expect to make regular use of full reverse prop on landings.
