Hi all, just wanted to say thank you to the people of the UAE and all of the other participating nations of the exercise we just completed. I have a new view of the Middle East and it's people. Hi Tom, thanks, it's good to be back. Don't know about any local haunts, but I must have went to every mall in the country. The Mall of the Emirates was much nicer than any mall I've been to in the States, that's the one with the indoor ski slope. If you want to shop than the UAE is the place to go and you can really get some great deals. Dubai is a beautiful city and is under a lot of construction, so driving around may cause some headaches. Abu Dhabi is also very nice and is about an hour away from Dubai, check them both out if you have the time. Enjoy your trip, the weather should be nice.Jeff
