As the title states I have the Raspberry Pi Desktop for PC installed on an older i5 Intel laptop. Why?  Because I have a Raspberry Pi and like having similar desktops. 🙂

I've tried installing the Linux Debian Installation package, but get a 'One of the selected packages failed to install properly' error.

Perhaps it's not possible, but worth a try.

Did you try to extract and run LNM from one of the .tar.xz packages? Maybe the one based on the older Ubuntu 20.04.

BTW: You can also install a plain Debian and then chose whatever desktop you'd like to run (XFCE, etc.) by installing the desktop components.
