July 14, 20241 yr I recently had to uninstall MSFS and reinstall. In doing this I forgot to copy all the PLN flight plans and have now lost them all. Is there a way to convert the lnmpln files to pln? This would save a lot of time if possible. July 14, 20241 yr Hi Dane, You should be able to open the lnmpln files in LNM and export them to a MSFS pln file. John C. Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
July 14, 20241 yr Author Thanks John, I knew that. But because I have so many I wondered if there was a way to convert in bulk, but no worries I'll open and then save as needed. July 14, 20241 yr There is no bulk export tool but why convert them all? I'd export a LNMPLN to PLN as needed when flying. Consider the LNMPLN as the "master" format which can keep all information like remarks and other features which are dropped when exporting to any other format. Quote from the user manual: Quote Consider exported flight plan files as disposable since almost all export formats have limitations resulting in data loss. Remember that you can always restore them by loading the original LNMPLN file and exporting again. Always save a copy in the default LNMPLN format before exporting to other formats. This allows Little Navmap to restore all flight plan properties like procedures, alternate airports and remarks. Note that the LNMPLN format is only understood by Little Navmap. Do not try to load it into simulators or add-ons. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
July 14, 20241 yr Author Thank you Alex, that makes perfect sense. Regards, Dane - Windows 11 Home - CPU Intel Core i7-10700KF @3.8GHz - EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU - 1TB SSD DRIVE - RAM 32GB - MSFS-2020
