While waiting for the PMDG -200, I'm still enjoying the CS version. A bit flaky at times but I can usually get what I want out of it. Here's an absolutely and most definitely non-real time flight from KIAD (Flightbeam's, but not very visible in these shots) to OEAO. From the product description on SImMarket - "Al Ula International Airport formerly known as Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz International Airport is a commercial airport made to serve the Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, AlUla. The airport Is located North West of Saudi Arabia and is the 5th biggest International airport in Saudi Arabia". Nicely modelled but a bit in the middle of nowhere, but then I guess that's pretty much true of anywhere in Saudi.

GSX seemed to object to any of the gates in KIAD for the 777, hence the loading scenes. No idea if there are actual 777-capable gates at KIAD but there certainly seemed to be static and/or AI 777s at various gates, and I might go back there and experiment some more. Don't forget, you're dealing with a man here who doesn't do charts and proper plans etc!

Anyway, here we go -

What would have been about twelve hours later (still can't believe anyone would do that in a sim, but hey) but was actually a separate flight for me, getting close to the destination

Nice series. Captures the essence of both the departure and destination locales quite well.

Excellent shots Andy! 😉
