July 30, 20241 yr Really like what I see with SLC and was wondering if anyone has used it with FSFO Yet? If so how was the expeience? Chris Chiozza
July 30, 20241 yr I'm not familiar with FSFO but I really like SLC. This is an incredibly well done work-in-progress that I never fly w/o, but I'm into airline flying. I use A Pilot's Life as well for its scoring component and put up with the lame route scheduler they use and seem to refuse to want to improve despite every 5th comment on their Discord relates to it. As well APL's scoring routine penalizes you for pausing the sim during the Cruise Phase of the flight and that piece I can't stand as I often need to leave the pilot's seat on a long flight, or pause to make a setting change in MSFS, or take a whiz, or what have you. They're trying to simulate a real pilot's life and yet what, no can leave to take a dump? What's bizarre is there is no penalty for the two times in the flight that are most critical to the pilot to stay focused on: initial climb and initial approach! Anyway, yep SLC is just fabulous well done and clearly a really tricky project to get right. I am tired of GSX issues and would like to find another app to use with FSFO. I was not sure if there would be a conflict with FSFO. Chris Chiozza
