Water Fountain Effect P3D5.4

Featured Replies

This is in P3D V5.4  Notice the splotches emitted from the water fountain. The fx file is what animates the water fall and makes splotches.

In P3DV4.5 this is what it looks like with animation fx activated. - no splotches.

Without the fx animation file, the water fountain looks as you see it like this, with no motion. This is just the bgl file only.

There are two files involved, one is effect (fx file) and the still image is a bgl file.

Yes I've seen this issue in many fx files when in use in P3d v5.

LM made changes to the way fx function, however I don't think they provided a clear guide on migration requirements for fx files.

Of if they did perhaps it's locked away in their beta forum.

If you come up with a logical guide or fomula on changes required please do post as there are many I'd like to resolve.

Cheers
