Cabin Pressure Knob get Stuck

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone.

First of all, thank you for this amazing bird.

I have a problem with the Cabin Pressure Knob, when I just install the product, everything goes fine, but after install a new repaint (making the modifications in aircraft.cfg for manually add my repaint) the Cabin Pressure Knob get Stuck, i can rotate it to the left (for higher altitudes) but not to the right (it remains at 350). I have the 4.4 version and also bought the FMS  expansion.

Waiting for your answer.

Regards from peru.

Erick-

It seems to me if the cabin pressure knob works correctly with a standard Flysimware livery, then the problem is the addition of the addon livery (repaint) for some reason, not the aircraft.  I don't use P3D anymore, but I know that in MSFS2020, addon liveries have caused all sorts of problems if they are not fully compatible with the basic aircraft. When the addon liveries were 'fixed', the problems went away. I don't see why FSX/P3D would be much different in this regard.

Thank you for your quick answer AI.

UPDATE: I made a completely restart ( i am using FSX version), i dind't install nothing (just the FSW L35 V4.4 + FMS EXPANSION). Entered in the FSX, started the FSW L35 for the first time and everything works fine (Cabin Pressure Knob full movement), closed FSX, enter again  (without any change) start again the airplane and the Cabin Pressure Knob get stuck. :C any idea please?. I am using FSX V2

I have not seen any other similar reports of this problem, and I tried but can't replicate the problem. I loaded the Lear into P3Dv5 about four times, restarting P3D each time, and was able to rotate the cabin altitude pressure knob in both directions with the mouse every time. If you are not using any addon programs of any kind with FSX, and are just using the mouse to turn the pressure knob (no addon hardware), and have tried deleting the Lear from FSX and then redownloading the Lear and reinstalling it, I just don't have any good ideas on what you could try next other than maybe trying both the FMS and non-FMS versions of the Lear, and a different airport,  if you haven't already done so to see if that makes a difference for some strange reason.
If I think of something else I will post in this thread.

Hi Hi-

I think it was a problem with an A2A (Accusim) C172 wich I installed. Now without this airplane everything works fine.

Thank You 😃

Erick.
