August 18, 20241 yr Yes it will. VPN’s affect internet speeds. That being said I’ve never had a problem with my connection speed while connected to MSFS.

I use a VPN when updating MSFS. With the VPN active I can maintain 100MBs download speed. Without it, downloads will often be slow and regularly go to zero. If you have a good internet connection, using a VPN will not be noticed.
