Hello.

 

Is there anyone who is successfully using FsRaas20 (fsraas20.zip) with FSX and Windows 11?

 

I am helping someone migrate to a new Windows 11 computer and am having trouble getting this to work.  Whenever it starts to play one of the audio files the sim crashes.  I know this was an issue for some many years ago (long before Windows 11) and I think it might have something to do with DirectSound (DirectX), but I'm not sure.

 

I have reached out to the author but have not received a response.  So, I'm turning to the community.

Nobody is using this anymore?

What do you use instead?

The only RAAS I've used is the one that comes with the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended A320/321 which works fine in my win10. I'm planning to skip win11.
