The title will also lead other people to believe that AAO has a problem with the Warthog - which is not the case. Do you mind if I change that title? Edited August 20, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 20, 20241 yr Commercial Member Btw, AAO is "try before buy". You don't have to take my word - there is a demo version of AAO that you should try regarding your specific hardware and requirements. Edited August 20, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 21, 20241 yr Author By all means change the title, but I cant really see how it misleads.. ..sorry if it did we are spectacularly at cross purposes - Ive owned and loved axis and ohs since 2021.. I was trying to ask if simply making AAO operate these switches would solve my issue, as was suggested by an older post on the same subject elsewhere 🙂 I didnt know how he had done it and was asking for suggestions .. "you were asking for support because the button did not work as expected" The button DOESNT work as expected... hence asking if AAO could provide me a solution to fix that 🙂 I will try to run it through AAO .. Apologies if ive confused you ... I thought the post (s) was pretty clear

"The button" in my world is the button assignment in AAO. And that should work as expected, unless the device sends weird inputs (like repeating on/off/on/off). Best option is to just try it out. In general, AAO is in no way related to or connected with the controller assignments in MSFS. You cannot compare the two "logics". The MSFS controller assignments can "talk" directly to the simulation, while AAO is essentailly just a translator between your hardware and the MSFS SDK, which in turn "talks" to the simulation. That some of the event names used in the MSFS controller assignments also appear as Events in the SDK is coincidental, to my best knowledge they have nothing to do with each other. August 21, 20241 yr Author aaaah I see... understood... will certainly try it when back at PC later...sorry for any confusion, and appreciate the help 🙂
August 21, 20241 yr Author Eureka... removing the direct assignment from FS2020 for Flaps increment/decrement , and controlling that switch using AAO did indeed solve the problem..! they no longer repeat !...so the peculiar nature of that particular switch is now made momentary by AAO Hope that helps others with this Throttle in future 🙂 thanks again for the help..
