MCE window displays black

Featured Replies

Dear developer,

For some reason the MCE window if displayed when MSFS is in full screen mode displays as a black window. And only when MSFS is put in window mode and MCE minimized and displayed again does it show as normal. Do you know what can be causing this?

Thank you.

Some changes were made recently, might be sometjhing to do with it.

To make sure you're on the latest, get the patch and manually replace mce.exe and SImco64_Lder.exe

Ten confirn whether you are experiencing the same behaviour.

Replaced the files with the newest patch but it's the same... Still black window when in full screen.

I get this a lot too. Minimising/maximising MSFS and MCE usually resolves the issue but a patch would be welcome.

I just got a reply from the dev. He suggested to turn off the following functions in mce.ini

NoFullScreenDraw=0
StartToTray=0

This fixed it for me.
