MSFS 2024 - PMDG 777F pitch problem
I feel bad for them, and disappointed as a user, as there is no other options than PMDG, and unfortunately I can’t vouch for their quality lately. Anyway I move on. Back to topic. Yes their T7 needs more refining - FACT.

MSFS 2024 - PMDG 777F pitch problem
Their hands are always full. Instead of methodologically going through each of their product eliminating any bugs, control issues (in case of the T7) before jumping onto the next one. Leaving them half finished, not fully refined and thus not up to the standard we were all used to. Look at Flight Factor in X-Plane, their 777 is receiving so many updates even though they clearly also wanna move to another type as well but yet if it’s unfinished, it’s unfinished DOT.

Fenix: Update 2.4.0.4720 released
I wouldn't read too much into this update. It's solely only to bring compatibility for SU5 for MSFS.

Rhodiumcode: New A350 coming, Trailer May 3rd 0500z
iniBuilds just doesn’t feel like there is much depth to the systems unfortunately. So I think the community should not write off new development teams. How about we all just adopt the wait and see and not write off news devs. Such a negativity always when someone new announces something out of blue. Let’s wait and see.

The PMDG 737NG High Detail Update: MSFS 2020 vs MSFS 2024
Mathijs Kok said on their forum that 777 isn’t getting this no. According to them, they are mostly done.

PMDG 777 for MSFS 2024 fleet receives significant update.
Half agree, half disagree with you @UrgentSiesta. PMDG’s business lately - after coming over from P3D to the MSFS market seemed to have changed a little. They do openly communicate that they don’t want to invest into the older platforms anymore. And I gotta say it does seem a little too much about focusing on income and less about what they love doing. No matter what they say. Unrelated to your comment and just generally want to get this out here: They are constantly chasing their own tail. Stuck in a viscous circle. Never ending circle… They released the 737 on 2020 after a long time - so then shortly after 2024 got released, while they are already working on the 777. Then all hell broke loose, so then they had to go back and split resources and slow down everything. Then none of the planes are progressing. Only to then release both in succession and everyone would call them half baked at best. Why? Constantly chasing their own tail and can’t catch up with their own development timelines, constantly plagued by unexpected problems, underdelivering and “promises that never came”. We are waiting for the 777 sounds for how long already? And they had just delivered a big revamp for the 737. They gotta speed up because next we are getting a new sim and PMDG will have just finished revamping their stuff only to have to redo it all over again. This way I don’t know how they are ver going to deliver a new plane…

MSFS 2024 PMDG 773
I could have not said it any more correctly myself. I dived in quite deep in the FCOM and FCTM on many occasion when I felt like I could not stabilise the aircraft in pitch and felt confident that I knew how the trim was different compared to the conventional aircraft and how one should trim it out. However, I have to say that I had issues with PMDG 777’s rendition for years now, going back all the way to the P3D version. This plane has been quite unstable in pitch and I would really love them to finally at least take onboard the feedback people have been voicing. Failing to do so for years, I would really like a revamp in how they develop their aircraft and listen to the community finally.

Fenix: New Build 2.4.0.2913 Released
As far as I am aware PMDG haven’t added anything to interact with BATC unfortunately. Wish they did though.

Stuck brakes at 50% - not releasing or moving abruplty
Reset the calibration within Windows Control Panel for the particular device. That did the trick for me.

Support for New Planes
Dear developer, I am wondering whether the beta package you mentioned would be available that supports the iniBuilds A350? Kind regards, Balint

Support for New Planes
Lovely. I am looking forward to the 350 implementation. At least after the 350 is added then I can remove the Voxscript files and will be only the MD11, until that comes out too. Thank you ☺️

Support for New Planes
That’s correct. They are ran by FSUIPC and I have used Voxkey and entered key combinations to trigger the individual.lua files. My problem is that I am doing this on unsupported aircraft like the A350 and the MD11 - which means that MCE needs the Voxscript files all in the Other ASOBO jet aircraft (or whatever is called) folder. And once you do this to more than one plane it can get a bit confusing on which command was which aircraft. You see I am using Voxkey to insert keyboard shortcuts and instead of writing understandable commands I just abbreviate them so it does not get recognised by the voice recognition and then I insert those abbreviated commands in the Voxscript files. So you can see it can get very crowded in one folder. It would be nice if planes that are unsupported can get their own folder based on their aircraft.cfg (categorised by model maybe?).

I also wonder would it be possible to have a file created within MCE’s folder that would make it to be recognized even if that means the FO won’t be able to do much in the cockpit? You could be asking why would I want that? Well I have written quite a lot of lua files that are ran by MCE which in turn does complex stuff and complements the FO. So understand it in a way that MCE provides the voice recognition and limited aircraft knowledge and the lua files do checks on systems and complex stuff. The two together is a dream come true.

I second this too.

Are things looking up weather radar wise?
I was referring to 2020. I am not on 2024 so I can’t comment on that. But it does look nice 😊

Are things looking up weather radar wise?
I agree with you that is not like the real thing but it's a lot closer than the current MSFS's implementation. That is really useless and it never actually shows anything useful. In P3D at least there were consequences of flying into the depicted orange or red returns while in MSFS the weather is like a non-existing thing that you fly through and not even bump... Weather is all but realistic unfortunately... It should impose a challenge so that you feel like there is a need to deviate around stuff. It's always like okay I am in cruise I know nothing will happen. In P3D I remember that I had to ask the controllers to deviate around weather, and yes at times the weather was also then exaggerated. So somewhere half way through if they could do that it would be awesome. I am happy that there is way forward in the simming hobby but I am also sad and disapointed that things I mentioned will never ever be implemented because of the users of said sim.

Are things looking up weather radar wise?
I have kind of moved over from P3D like maybe a year ago, to slowly discover the sad state of MSFS. Now before everyone jumps on me saying how wrong I am, let me explain. The sim is unfortunately developed again just like the FSX with fundamental issues at its core. The visuals are amazing 🤩 but not a single time have I come across a thunderstorm, or patch of cloud that screamed - don’t fly through it… In P3D you’d suffer the consequences of flying through an orange or red cell on the WXR. Now the lack of if MSFS not only means you can’t always identify one but also that there aren’t really distinctive from other regular clouds which would be fine to fly through. The second biggest thing that put me off when I moved over was the AI traffic being depicted at FL’s like FL346 on the traffic display. And you’d start searching why that is, well because MSFS’s pressure simulation is fundamentally flawed, and unfortunately I don’t see ASOBO fixing it any soon. Why, not enough people complain about it I guess. Another big downside of MSFS is its interface, what an unfriendly and game-looking interface… Nothing is intuitive. The weather and so many other things are locked and no one officially can interact with it at all. I don’t see this change either because most gamers don’t care about this. Why? Because their attention is gone to details like the big unrealistic CB’s that are all over the place - and they find it super realistic - which they are not. In fact it always looks like it’s doomsday arriving in MSFS. Unless one uses Active Sky with limited interaction it could somehow implement
