'Hi all - we've just pushed a new build to your installers. This patch addresses a couple of minor interim issues, mainly a workaround for the flickering displays caused by an MSFS 2024 Sim Update 4 regression that has been logged by Asobo already. 

Another welcome improvement in this update, given current RAM prices, is the significantly better memory efficiency of our External Engine Model (XEM), which should deliver a modest performance boost on some systems. Incidentally, this is the first piece of ‘NEO’ work reaching you in the CEO, as we made several broad-spectrum enhancements to XEM while refining the GTF and LEAP engines.

It’s also worth noting another regression we couldn’t work around: the “volumetric” property of lights has become binary with SU4. This means we can only turn this effect on or off now, regardless of the actual value set, so some lights may appear to have too much of a bright “cone" in clear conditions, and others will have none at all. We’ve left the volumetric lighting effect enabled as it was before. However, if you wish to disable it, this can be done in the graphics settings by turning off *Light Shafts*. Of course, once this is fixed in MSFS these issues will be resolved automatically as the correct values remain in the lighting files.

- [2024] Fixed A321 incorrect wing comp textures on some liveries

**EFB**

- Improved turnaround flow of editing weights and importing SimBrief plan for the next flight
- Fixed Mass and Balance fields not editable after GSX deboarding without clicking in deboard dialog'

These guys really are the GOAT these days - I drift off to the 737 Max, 777 and others now and again but when I just want a really solid, immersive experience I find my go to is always the Fenix. Don't ever change, @Aamir!

One request please please please is to add D-ATIS functionality from BATC/SI AI in the AOC menu. PMDG just added it to the NG, ini have it in the A340 and I feel very old school tuning the ATIS on the radio in the Fenix. 😅

As far as I am aware PMDG haven’t added anything to interact with BATC unfortunately. Wish they did though.

I absolutely love the folks at Fenix.  Product support is out of the world and I do agree that PMDG could learn a thing or 2 from these folks.  

Anyone remember way back when we first heard about the Fenix A320 and at the time they were totally unknown?  A lot of talk how it was going to be junk (its a port) and they won't know what they are doing so its going to be rubbish.  Instead we got an outstanding and a pioneering product!

If I am going to criticize Fenix for anything they need to make more planes so I can continue paying them for the continued support.  I am sure they are working on it!

They (finally) will. They've contacted the BATC devs today for the latest documentation (source: BATC Discord).

lol totally sounds like the community reaction to their preview videos has spooked them. Hey, if it makes a better product I’m all for it. 

Cant seem to interact outside with the walkaround. Also no airstairs deploy from EFB?
