September 5, 20241 yr Not much of an Asia area expert here and rarely fly out there, but recently APL has been sending me down to Asia quite a bit. There are two RCTP's available on the market and both overpriced. One from Double T (through IniBuilds) and the other from SimMarket and some other dev. Which to get? Jacek G. September 5, 20241 yr Absolutely ACO Design Studio, they're from Taiwan (so they had direct access to the airport) and their quality is very good. Double T is an absolute avoid in general for me. Their quality is abysmal for the price. Edited September 5, 20241 yr by Abriael Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com
September 5, 20241 yr A good Taipei Songshan (RCSS) scenery would be really cool. Not quite the old Kai Tak, but still some 787's, A330's and such coming in low over dense city areas. I still haven't tried any addon airport scenery for MSFS, but it does seem like a very cool way to enhance the experience. In real life I found Taoyuan airport to be kind of boring, but functional, so personally I probably wouldn't buy it, even if it were great. But I'd love to watch some videos of it anyway. It is kind of cool actually, some spots up in the hills nearby you can get some vantage points where you look down at the large jets on final approach beneath you. Sometimes in the city too around the Confucius Temple you get great views of planes thundering past just overhead the narrow alleyways. Edited September 5, 20241 yr by Antipodeslonghaul

September 5, 20241 yr Yep, ACO's Taipei Songshan is great. The only small flaw is the lack of custom jetways (it was done when it wasn't pretty much a standard yet), but the quality of the rest of the scenery is good enough that I'm happy to forgive it. If you folks are interested in Taiwan, I also recommend FS Formosa's scenery for the smaller airports. Edited September 5, 20241 yr by Abriael Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com

They work together AFAIK. I don't remember if you need to select something on installation (of the airport) or not. I honestly don't remember which one is better but I run Orbx's city scenery on top of the airport. There must have been a reason why I did it that way lol. Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com
April 23, 20251 yr Revisiting this thread because ACO's Songshan and Taoyuan got updated at the end of March — and since they apparently now have custom jetways and improved landsides, they're of interest to me. However, having looked at images of these new jetways, they appear to just be modified default models, made to somewhat resemble their real-world counterparts. Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the case? How do these two airports stack up generally in 2025? Do they work well with FSLTL? Thanks.
