Taxi Lights?

Featured Replies

Is there an explanation available as to why there are no taxi lights on the selected aircraft or on any AI aircraft? Landing lights work, except on AI aircraft they seem to go out prior to landing. Now flying with: Biostar TF560-A2+, Athlon 64X2-6000+, Geforce 8800GTS-320MB, 500W PSU, 250GB HD, FS2004 with UT-USA, ASV6 & FSGen, and FSX, Vista Home Premium

Yes, there is. I've posted on this same question at least a dozen times over the past year.Once again. There are no taxi lights because they are not included in the default models. They are not included in the default models because no one had written the necessary XML code prior to FSX release to even allow taxi lights to be created for inclusion. The missing code has been added to modeldef.xml file by 3rd party modelers so they could include taxi lights in their models, and since Acceleration SDK release, it is now included in the SDK's modeldef.xml file, along with quite a few other missing bits of code...
