Hi there-

Im posting because that alost every aircraft I try to put in my sim does NOT show up in the aircraft selection. I use companies under the Manufacturer such as Project Airbus for the A320 models from Project Airbus. Also, tried installing one from Mike Stone and titled it "Mike Stone" under manufacturer name. Still didn't show up. Before I spend countless hours downloading airplanes, can someone help me in knowing why my aircraft is not showing up? Am I missing something?

Hi Lee,

If they are not showing up in the aircraft selection menu, the first thing to check is the aircraft.cfg file for the aircraft in question. Look at the format of the aircraft.cfg for one of the default aircraft and make sure the aircraft.cfgs for the ones you have added follow the same format.  In particular, check that the [fltsim.X] entries are all in sequence starting with fltsim.0, fltsim.1, etc. If any numbers in the sequence are skipped or duplicated then the subsequent aircraft will not show up in the selection menu. Even something as simple as a missing square bracket around the fltsim.X entry will mess things up. Also look at the various ui_ entries in the aircraft.cfg - these determine how the individual aircraft liveries appear in the selection menu.
