October 4, 20241 yr Hello, I have a very strange problem with my PMDG 737 fleet. If I load the planes with the standard livery, the VC loads without any problems. If I use a different livery, whether from PMDG Central or Flightsim.to, the VC is only loaded the first time. If I close the sim and restart it and then load the same plane again, the VC is empty and only the windshield wipers are visible, the rest of the VC is missing. Everything else on the plane is there. The problem can only be solved if I delete the livery via PMDG Central and reinstall it. As I haven't flown the 737 for a long time, I can't say when the problem started. But it also happens when the community ordner only contains the 737 fleet, I've already tested that. Has anyone had a similar problem and is there a solution for it?? The PMDG 777 works without problems and so do all the other planes!!! Prost Torsten Künne
October 4, 20241 yr In the linked thread, I posted a solution to a different issue which involved the removal of all PMDG files and folders. I don't have the 777 or any other PMDG products, so this worked for me, and might work for you as a last resort... 1. Removed 'PMDG 737-800 for MSFS' from Windows Control Panel 2. I deleted these folders (I searched the C & D drives for any files/folders containing 'PMDG'): C:\Program Files (x86)\PMDG Operations Center C:\ProgramData\FlexNET C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\pmdg-aircraft-738 C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800 C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800BBJ2 C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800BCF C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800BDSF C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\PMDG C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\PMDG C:\Windows\Prefetch\PMDG 737-800 FOR MSFS.EXE-00F3BF06.pf C:\Windows\Prefetch\PMDG OPERATIONS CENTER.EXE-4C90B039.pf C:\Windows\Prefetch\PMDG OPERATIONS CENTER.EXE-208E325D.pf C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp C:\Windows\Temp D:\MSFS\Packages\Community\pmdg-aircraft-738 D:\MSFS\Packages\Community\pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries 3. Installed PMDG 737-800 from newly downloaded installer. 4. Installed 3.0.100 update from PMSD Operations Center I'll let PMDG know and close the ticket. Note that I only have the 737 so deleting those folders will probably take out all PMDG aircraft. October 5, 20241 yr Author So, after a lot of back and forth and because I finally found the problem, I wanted to share it with the community in case someone has a similar problem. Uninstalling the PMDG 737 and deleting all folders didn't help either. So I thought about what else could be related to the 737 and came across the FS2 Crew. Deleting the FS2 Crew and all folders then had the desired result. FS2 Crew freshly installed and now everything is running smoothly again. Prost Torsten Künne
