October 9, 20241 yr Would like to know if it is possible to convert a MSFS2020 scenery file to P3D V4 or V5? If so, how is it done? What tools are used? TY Edited October 9, 20241 yr by Butch1
October 9, 20241 yr I've done a little bit of testing on this, but this can be an understandably sensitive topic for devs, so check your PMs. You'll need to be proficient with the P3D SDK - including bglcomp and the autogen annotator - along with other P3D tools out there like ModelConverterX / SceneryBuilderX as well as image editors like Photoshop. If anyone is interested in this, feel free to PM me; but I'd ultimately say this is a more complex process than you might expect.
