October 16, 20241 yr Hi Everybody, Today we look at CYYC and EDDF. I continue my MSFS2024 research by visiting well over 60 airports, looking for issues. Instead of lumping them into one video, I broke them up showing two airports at a time. I must say, MS2024 is looking real nice. Hope you enjoy the view, catch you on my next run. From what I've seen, it looks quite smooth, and as you mentioned, the distant scenery blends beautifully. I'm curious about how it appears at 3,000 feet and above in reference to blending at a distance. Also, do you think the colors might be a bit too greenish, or could it be related to my slow internet speed? That view from EDDF looks incredibly realistic, particularly the tree colors. Two days ago, we departed from there to VHHH, and it closely resembled reality. I'm afraid that the intermittent annoying issue with the ground redraws from the MSFS2020 is still not fixed. Again, I appreciate it. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
October 16, 20241 yr Author Hi, The view if you have the ability to move the slider full right for distance (LOD) makes a big difference in the sparsity one would normally see when flying in 2020/2024. Although 2024 with the same sliders as 2020 looks much better.
