October 18, 20241 yr Hi fellow aviation lovers, This afternoon I was driving through my town and saw a most unusual GA aviaition aircraft buzzing around and I though maybe you can help me identify it. It had a design that reminded me of the Piaggio P.180 Avanti. But with some differences. It had the same small wings in front like the P.180 but it was a single engine prop with a nose mounted propeller. The main wings were mounted at a backwards facing angle, so that the they didn't stick out of the fuselage at 90° but more like 80°. Does anybody have any clue what that could have been?
October 18, 20241 yr Assuming it was a canard you might look at Wikipedia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_canard_aircraft Edited October 18, 20241 yr by Joe L Joe Lorenc
