Hi Everyone,I'm Trying to get TaupoX for old FSX only a Taupo extras on this site,i registered 2 months ago on NZ site NZFF but Admin haven't replied so can't join the site to ask,also searcned for Michael Allen Andrews the scenery builder but to no avail so does anybody have a copy PLEASE Urgently needed as project will be on hold Thanx.

Although I am not sure if this will help you, Taupo airport (NZAP) is included in the Orbx New Zealand North Island scenery payware. As far as I know this is currently the only scenery for Taupo available for FSX and it is described as an 'upgrade' to the default scenery. From my experience of the airports/airfields included in the Orbx regional scenery packs this will be a definite improvement on the default scenery and will be pretty accurate although it may not have the degree of detail you might require and certainly will not have the degree of detail of the individual Orbx payware airport scenery addons.

I thought I'd replied to this earlier, but maybe not. TaupoX was originally payware, sold on Mike's own site, and then became freeware, but this file is no longer available. I haven't heard from Mike for years, and I don't think it'll be easy to contact him. I will ask over at NZFF (sorry you had trouble getting in there) but I'm not optimistic.

I do have this installed, but it does include a license agreement which excludes sharing. I'm not sure if this changed when the scenery became freeware, but I suspect not.

 

I got Old FSX going & want to have just NZ at this stage as scenery,is toprob Mr Corn ? if so i have heaps of your scenery.

i have ORBX South Island Installed so maybe have to get NI,Just love Robin Corn's Real NZ Godzone & the TaupoX i think fits into it so was hoping to have gotten that instead.

A NZFF member has tracked down a post from Mike, basically giving permission to share this scenery, so I'll upload it and let you know where.

Note that I don't have the original installer, just the installed scenery, so I hope it doesn't have other dependencies.

Yeah they are very nice airport addons. If I remember correctly, I had a lot more Godzone airports in my FS9 days including Taupo I think, but I only have NZDN, NZTI and NZNS for FSX but all seem to work with Orbx.

Yes i have TaupoX now installed & working along with real Nelson,Kaikoura,Wellington,Auckland,All Robin Corn's FSX Scenery with ORBX & Looking really Good.
