November 8, 20241 yr To adhere fully to the forum rules, I didn't mention VR in my post in the main section: But in VR, it's even better!!!! Full simbrief flight planning and flight without having to lift your headset. November 8, 20241 yr Agreed. Some people were nervous when Navigraph acquired Simbrief but they've been a really excellent shepherd and innovator of the product. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
November 9, 20241 yr That's good, the more apps that work well in VR the better for everyone involved. Personally I'll be using the default MSFS24 Flight Plan/Charts as I'm still "learning" so to speak and forking out for a Navigraph sub isn't required at this stage, but good to know it all works in VR for a potential future purchase should I make that step. Actually, I haven't found a VR keyboard method yet to be able to type a brand new 'from' and 'to' into the VR Simbrief screen but pulling up saved routes seems to work well. I'll carry on experimenting. Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset
November 10, 20241 yr I just have a physical keyboard sitting on top of my yoke. No big deal to reach up and type - not like I need to see it for that. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
