P2A v2 on networked PC - No AI traffic and radio comms

Featured Replies

Hello!

I installed version 2703_x64_Beta1A on a networked PC and everything works fine, except for the AI traffic that seems not to be detected. In fact, both during takeoff and landing I found traffic on the runway in the opposite direction to mine, in addition to the fact that both on the ground and in flight I do not hear the communications of the AI aircraft (I remember that in an installation where everything was on a single PC this happened).
What should I check? Maybe I forgot to install or configure something.
Thanks in advance,

Alessandro

If Using X-Plane you have to configure the AI IP address of the SIM PC and install the P2A_XPLink as a plugin in X-Plane.  See the installation manual for instructions.

P2A does not do AI Traffic communications, so not hearing that is normal.  You can use the Chatter feature for that.  See the installation and operations manuals for how to set that up.

Hi Dave, I forgot to specify that I use P3D.

With P3D, the traffic is accessed via Wide FS on a client machine, which connects to the SIM via FSUIPC.

Assuming that is all working, then check that you have the Traffic Alerts enabled in P2A v2 Config and you have the Airborne and Ground traffic buttons below the map activated.
