Australians - and others - we are being cheated

When 2020 was born in Aug.2020 - and ever since then - MS have used - what was then a 7 year old Bing Sat map of Australia

Today - when using 2020 - that Map is now 11+ years old and if it hadn't been for Orbx and others - our pleasure in the sim would

have been dreadful - remember Sydney Harbour Bridge etc.,?

Well folks - despite Jorge showing us - in the canyon presentation - a screen that showed the East Coast of Australia with updated

Bing - as well as other World spots - what a load of B---sh-t

Imagine my disappointment when I fired up the new sim - and on my first flight - that my house was still a building  site - a house that

I have lived in for 10 years - a freeway South of Moorabbin opened 9 years ago - is only just started construction -I have many examples

on my own Gold Coast patch  -

The New Sim - lauded for its scenery - in the land down under - is still 11 years -OUT OF DATE:huh:

Come on Jorge - who are you kidding?

... and getting autumn  trees in the Southern Hemisphere. Now. In November.

Hello! Jorg ... there is a whole half a planet down here.

Also have to mention that the lighting (at least with my current settings) seems a massive step backwards. Marginal contrast (to appease those that moaned about the dark panel when you are looking out front ... kinda like like really life, eh?) and overall very gamey looking. The rendition of light in 2020 was one of its best features.

Overall it seems to have enormous promise, but doesn't feel like a release candidate to me (and yes I have loads of experience with beta software). Then again, so did 2020 when it was launched (but it was so good-looking we let that slide).
