Cessna 152 no sounds?

Featured Replies

Whenever I try to fly the Cessna 152 in MSFS2024, I get no sounds from the aircraft. I do hear enviromental sounds but no sounds from the door shutting, switches or even the engine.

Is this a problem on my end or do others have the same issue?

Yes this is being reported and I also experienced it. The suggested workaround (and it worked for me) is too shut down sim, delete the aircraft from your packages and restart the sim .

That worked mostly. I still have no sounds from the door closing, and the door doesn't close automatically like in the 172, but the engine and fuel pump sounds work.

Also, once the door is closed there is no way to open it again unless there is a child lock I have missed. The window also cannot be opened so bringing a tin opener is advised😃

I can only suggest go to the sound settings in FS2024 and check they are all at max.

It happened to me too; no sounds from the aircraft and not only the C152. I own Steam. I uninstalled, deleted all remaining folders afterwards and reinstalled. I also gave administrator rights to the executable. Now my sounds are back, but like you, I also have no door sounds with the C152.

About opening the door, have you tried right mouse?

Cheers, Bert
