Featured Replies

Hello all I've recently got my PC fixed and was looking forward to getting back in P3D, I was planning to do a flight in the 787 for P3D and when I loaded into the sim I got a text on my display saying an error, Any help would be appreciated. spacer.png

In case you see the following error message on the cockpit screens of the 787...

"ERR: Startup Error: !! Unable to Start QW787-1"
...there are two ways to resolve this issue.

Method 1: Use this method in case you purchased and installed the product using the Flight1 Purchase Agent.

Method 2: Use this method in case you purchased and installed the product using the Flight1 Wrapper.

Method 1 (purchased and installed the product using the Flight1 Purchase Agent)

1. Launch the Flight1 Purchase Agent and change to the QualityWings Store

2. Open the Library

3. Select the appropriate product

4. Click "License Manager"

5. Select "Refresh Local License"

Method 2 (purchased and installed the product using the Flight1 Wrapper)

1. Launch the wrapped installer (red aircraft symbol)

2. Use the reinstall option. It is best to use your Flight1 account. Activation emails can now be sent, so login to your account and have the system send the activation email again. Then you can use the "Click Here to Reinstall" option as required. Info for that will be pasted below.

3. If you have a key file, you can use that to reinstall also. You can get a key via http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=keyrequest if you do not have one (this is only if you do not have an account as accounts are much easier.

If you did not create an account, you can via our site. Make sure you open the account using the same email address as your purchase. Then keys will not be needed for reinstalls, and the reinstall process can be very easy.

Account reinstall instructions:

When reinstalling, you will want to reinstall using the Account method. See the 2 images below. You use the "Click Here to Reinstall" button first.

http://www.flight1.com/imgmain/new_wrapper.gif

You then use the "Reinstall using your Flight1 Login and Password" option.

Enter your email and password in the boxes as shown above, then select the Validate button.
In case you get the following error message during installation with the Flight1 Wrapper...

That still took actual WORK even if just a little! Pasted data will last years just posting a link that will be broken one day is less useful.
