External power

Featured Replies

I've been trying to figure out how to connect external power to the Cessna Citation.  I call for the ground power unit, it arrives, but I don't see an option to connect.  The Citation is new(ish) to me.  I might be missing it, but I don't see an option in the cockpit to select external power.  Any ideas?

Edit to the above... I found the option in the EFB to connect to external power, but it says not available.  I parked at several locations at JFK with the same result.  I tried calling the GPU tug, still no external power available.  Safe to assume it isn't modeled yet?

It's been a while I flew the CJ4 but I believe the GPU is connected via the FMC and not via the sim ATC.

I mis-spoke.  I meant to say that I found the option in the "FMC", not the EFB.  I found the option to select external power, but is says not available.  I tried multiple parking/terminal locations around JFK and couldn't find any that showed "available".

Where in the FMC do you find this option... I have been having problems on occasion getting external power to work at KPNS and I cannot find the option to connect it.
